Hurra Privacy Policy

Hurra works without an account. Birthday records stay in the app's local storage and are not sent to BearField IT.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

Data collection

Hurra does not send your names, birthday records, or reminder settings to BearField IT or to an app backend. The app has no accounts, advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.

Hurra does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location. You enter birthdays yourself. The app's own error logs use operation names and error codes rather than birthday records or people's names.

Data on your iPhone

Hurra stores the names you enter, birthday day and month, optional birth year, reminder preferences, and your app language choice locally on your device. It uses this information to display upcoming birthdays and schedule reminders.

You can edit or delete a person in the app. Deleting a person removes their birthday record and pending reminders from Hurra. Deleting the app removes its local data. Existing device backups are managed separately through Apple or your computer.

Records remain on your device until you delete them or delete the app. BearField IT has no remote copy and cannot access or restore your birthday list.

Notifications

With your permission, Hurra schedules local notifications through iOS. It does not use a remote push-notification server.

A reminder can contain a person's name and may appear on the lock screen. You can change notification permissions and preview visibility in iOS Settings, or turn reminders off in Hurra.

Backups and Apple services

This version of Hurra does not provide iCloud synchronization between devices. Depending on your settings, its local data may be included in iCloud Backup or a computer backup. Those backups and restoration are controlled by you and the services you use.

Apple services such as the App Store, TestFlight, device backups, and optional diagnostic sharing may process information under Apple's own policies. If Apple makes crash reports or beta feedback available to us, we use them to investigate problems and improve Hurra.

Support and website

If you contact us, we receive the contact information and message you choose to provide. We use it to respond and investigate your request, and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or applicable obligations. Please avoid including other people's real names or birthdays.

The app's support and privacy links open bearfieldit.se. Website visits and contact-form submissions are covered by the separate Website Privacy Policy.

Hurra is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect personal data from children through the app.

Changes

If Hurra's data practices change, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information before releasing the affected version. Future features, including any cross-device sync, are not covered as existing functionality.
